ROUND1 TWolves in 4 (Denver could win 1 game, but I doubt it) Lakers in 6 (I think we will really only win 1, but I am trying to be optimistic) Spurs in 6 (Mem gives them a couple of good games) Kings in 7 (tough call) Pacers in 5 (Boston sucks) Nets in 6 (Marbury creates some drama) Pistons in 4 (Bucks totaly overwhelmed) Char in 7 (Experience and Davis squek by) ROUND 2 Twolves in 6 Lakers in 6 (last hurrah from this Lakers) Pacers in 6 Pistons in 7 (Nets battle) ROUND 3 Twolves in 6 (Lakers finally break down) Pistons in 6 (Pacers forget how to score, Pistons score just enough) ROUND 4 Twolves in 6 (defense controls, but Wolves just have more options to score in a grind out affair)
ROUND 1 WEST: Nuggets over TWolves (3) - You heard it here first. Well, except for Nuggets4 but he doesn't counts since he's a homer. Twolves dismantle the team in the offseason, Rockets get Garnett. Lakers over Rockets (2) - of course I want the Rockets to win, but the Lakers are coming in pretty hot. Our only hope is if Kobe goes on trial or something during the series. Spurs over Grizz (0) - I believe that you need a true team leader in the playoffs. We'll see if Hubie Brown can prove me wrong. Kings over Mavs (3) - home court advantage saves the Kings, otherwise the Mavs would win this series. ROUND 1 EAST: Pacers over Celtics (0) - the Celtics tried to tank this season. Obviously, they failed. Pacers easily. Nets over Knicks (1) - the Knicks still haven't really gelled...the Nets have been together for a while, that will be the difference. Pistons over Bucks (2) - the Bucks surprisingly put up a fight, but they won't win. Heat over Hornets (3) - maybe the closest matchup of the playoffs. Heat pull it out. 2nd ROUND WEST: Kings over Nuggets (1) - Nuggets run ends here...they gave everything they had against Minny. Spurs over Lakers (2) - It will be a close series, but the Spurs will get it done in 6 so they don't have to go back to LA. 2nd ROUND EAST: Pacers over Heat (0) - second consecutive sweep for the Pacers. The next round will be a little tougher. Pistons over Nets (1) - the Nets are finally taken down in the East. CONFERENCE FINALS: Spurs over Kings (3) - the Kings get rejuvenated by the Nuggets series after sweating out round 1...but the Spurs persevere. Pacers over Pistons (3) - might be the best series of all the playoffs. Pacers pull out game 7 at home on a Reggie Miller last second shot. FINALS: Pacers over Spurs (3) - after sweeping the first two rounds, the Pacers go 7 in the last two. JO cancels out Duncan, Artest holds down Ginobili. Pacers win.
You just became my favorite poster. Seriously, I don't see the Nugs winning the seriers. No way in hell. I see Minnesota winning game 1, I see the Nugs stealing games 2 & 3, and then Minnesota realizing they have talent and just beating us down.
Man, the east sucks with the exception of about 2 teams. It is showing right now on ESPN. This has to be one of the most boring games ever. IND and BOS. It's nearly a 30pt game...Boring....
wolves in 4 rox in 6 spurs in 4 mavs in 7 pacers in 5 det in 5 knicks in 7 heat in 7 wolves in 5 spurs in 7 (rox get hot and stay that way) pacers in 4 det in 5 spurs in 6 pacers in 7 pacers in 7 (CHAMPS)
That's all that matters. The finals will be boring again because of the east. It's the Western Conference that matters.
