Who says PHX stays at 6?

And why not have faith in the Rockets at any spot?

Give Nash the layup.(he blew one easy layup)

Give the Suns one more 3 pointer going in to get them to their average.

While we are adjusting teams to their 3 point percentage averages, lets give the Rockets another made since they shot 2 for 11(3 for 11 is still below, but 4 for 11 is too high above).

Then give the Rockets 3 or 4 more made FTs to get to their average.

Its still a double digit game with a minute to play. And its actually Rockets +1 than what it was tonight.

Dont try to argue that it was catching them at a bad time. They werent coming off a game last night. This wasnt a back to back like the Suns get the Rockets on half the time. The Rockets worked their strategy to perfection. Give up nothing to anyone not named Amare. Shaq really had to earn his points. They did what so many other teams try to do - Take away Nash and the Phoenix 3 pointers. How many assists did Nash get to Grant Hill, Leandro Barbosa, Boris Diaw. Now, how many did he get to Amare?

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers blew out 3 play-off teams en route to their Super Bowl Championship. Going into each subsequent round the pundits tried to say the other team just had a bad game. Well, sometimes you have a bad game because the other team does things that make you uncomfortable. They take you out of your rhythm. I guess the Rockets have caught 54 teams on a bad night for the other team this season. Yeah, thats the ticket.

This is like the COMET's first year in the league

Sheryl Swoopes is out for the season
folx thought they wouldn't do anything

CC, TT and Perot take them to the Championship
    then
the next three years when SS comes back . .they keep winning

    Yao out
we gonna keep on keeping on
then Next year. . it will be even better and more dominant

I was never worried about Phoenix they are more beatable now with Shaq then before the trade.

Like i said before their is only 2 teams better than us in a 7 game series without Yao Ming.

    Utah
    San Antonio

With Yao every team is beatable except for Boston untill Houston lands that 3rd piece.

a 7 game series is COMPLETELY different. TMAC took his 8 seed magic  to a 3-1 lead over the 1 seed pistons. The pistons smarted up and noticed one guy was doing it all. They adjusted their defense to deny him the ball COMPLETELY and they won the rest of the games by an avg of 20 pts lol

IMO we could actually do pretty well against suns.

Remember, the suns have a nash and a fatso. They are both 30+ and The Great Fat One is 36. Some would say we cannot survive this long in a 7 game series, but if you think about it, Shaq and Nash can't play well for 7 games, and Amare at the PF will lose a lot of energy after 3 games.

Remember, from tonights game, RA's genius rotation can keep the rockets semi-fresh each game. We also have rookies, and endurance players. Im glad aaron was used tonight, as expected from many of us, aaron killed nash. And in a 7 game series, can you imagine how much running nash would have to do just to keep up with aaron?

Since we have a bigger rotation, our players would obviously be fresher than theirs. And their players are also older, and their bench isn't exactly solid like ours.

IMO after tonights game, Jazz and Phoenix is a team that we could actually match up against.

Maybe so but Shaq is not the young Shaq. Any series that goes to seven Shaq will also wear down.

He wouldn't have to. We'd have em finished in four. Five tops.

No team is a lock for anything in the playoffs.
That said, I like our team. I pick us.

Particularly sweet to take down Utah.
I'll feel bad for Phoenix when we beat them.
I don't think LA has our number.
NO is vulnerable to our intensity.
    Dallas schmallis.
    Denver schenver.
It would feel really good to beat SA.

Mcgrady aint passing first round this year.
The role players are great, but when the game is tight and we need a score, mr superstar will throw a 30 foot jumper or cry for his mommy because his pinktoe tickles.

if you have yao you play him despite his defeciencies on defense just like tmac or any other superstar for that matter.

i wouldn't get too excited about these games. The suns shot uncharacteristically bad tonight but they also shot unusually well the last time they played the rockets.

the rockets will play good defense and sometimes opposing teams will shoot so well it doesn't show. The rockets' biggest obstacle is maintaining offensive movement, efficiency, and unpredictability. If they have all of those things they will win the game because the defense is always way above average if not spectacular.

the suns shot 50%+ in the first half. they shot 46% for the game. we shut them down basically in the 2nd half of the game earlier (it was a b2b). we can play this team for one game at a time (i'm not sure about a 7-game series).

the only guarantee to pass the first round is a first round matchup v. denver.

    46% is uncharacteristically bad?

35% from 3 is only 4% under their season average.

You effing trolling around this forum for long enough, you never post any useful opinions, except hates on t-mac.

Clutch should ban you, you're pathetic. Get a life a*hole.

Great game, but I'm not about to start placing orders for a championship T-shirt.

We do have a legit fighting chance against anyone.
