Man, Durant seriously put Westbrook in his place; youre number 2 youngin, know your role. He didn't tell him, he showed him. After that pitiful display/verbal exchange in the last game Russ should feel slightly embarrassed.
the problem with him is he has a tendency to make bone-headed plays, nut he should never have been pulled from this game
I think it was best for the Thunder to close it out this way instead of a sweep. This win was a "character builder".
How do you stop Durant when his game is on? This is a new species of unstoppable players. You have the Jordan, with incredible athletism and speed to dominate in the closing seconds. Then you have Lebron, with dominating with a strong combination of athletism and brute strength. And now you have Durant, dominating with a deadly combination of length and accuracy. Of all 3 class of unstoppable players, Durant would last the longest only because he doesn't rely on his athletism. His length makes the game so easy for him.
My doubts with the Thunder are about their poor offensive game. 1on1 with West. 1on1 Durant. 1on1, 1on1... It's Ok against the Nuggets, but against LA defense? Chicago? Boston?...
Both feet have to be in the front court then step into the backcourt. Durant had one in the front and one in the back thus making it legal...well at least that is how I am getting the rule on twitter. Honestly can't see how the Thunder don't make the WCF at this point. Spurs look old and slow and Grizz's advantage over SA is their size...won't have that advantage in rd 2.
Gotta be tough to be a Nuggets fans. Game 1 the refs screw up a key call and in Game 5 it looks like they screwed up another one.
Body him up like Artest, be as physical as possible. He's not quick or athletic enough to blow by you, and you can force him to take contested jumpers.
Charles brought up a key point. The ref that didn't have a good angle is the one that overruled the ref.
Then that was an amazing call by the 2nd official. I guess that's what Charles is talking about right now.
