I have to say that out of all the teams still standing, only Memphis looked impressive (IMO) in Game 1. Still not sold on Atlanta, even with Joe Johnson and Jamal Crawford being unconscious.

I noticed that too -- incredible shot for the tip off. Great fans in OKC.

So far, it looks better for OKC so at least the Grizzlies won't run away. OKC is playing tougher and harder on defense, but their movement on offense is a joke, along with the TOs. But they are ready to play.

But we'll see what happens when Z-Bo gets it going. He is the key to the game, even more than KD.

Ibaka has surprised me although the whole team swarmed Randolph in that last play.

Ibaka has the physical tools to guard him, but Z-Bo is relentless and very savvy. Ibaka has really improved his defense (i.e, not fouling), but give it time. Z-Bo will have his way eventually.

I actually like listening to him although he can get a little obnoxious too, he says things some others wouldn't say for feeling afraid or politically incorrect.

IMO, his voice is annoying and he talks waaaaaaay too much. Needs to be more concise. He's grating on me already.

I didn't think he could contain him like this, Randolph is struggling against Ibaka since the last minutes of game one, let's see what happens.

was that 2nd foul by durant the stupidest foul in nba history? you're 6'11 with the wingspan of a pterodactyl and you've got shane battier trying to post you up and take a left-handed baseline hook and you reach in and slap him for your 2nd foul when you are your team's most important player?

edit: granted, memphis just keeps giving okc breakaway layups so it doesn't matter.

vasquez seems to be playing the softest game ever. he's allowed 2 fastbreak layups without so much as contesting the shot or giving up a foul, and harden wouldn't have gotten that last 3 if vasquez had gone after the loose ball instead of backing off and letting harden have it.

I think Scott Brooks should have rested Ibaka when Z-Bo sat down.

OKC's 2nd unit brought some movement to their office and they were able to pull away. Memphis has to have Z-Bo and Gasol get untracked.
