So is this one of the years Stern takes a hands off approach to the finals; No bringing in Crawford to change thing as he sees fit; minimal superstar calls?

mavs played awesome tonight. 46%fg, 41% from 3s, 27 fta, outrebounded the lakers.

both teams played great actually. mavs simply were again more clutch in the 4th.

Whoever kept saying this nonsense that Dirk disappears in the playoffs...check again.

    It has never been true.

After looking at the replay, it seems like it was a good call.

    Fisher clearly fouled Terry

Well, the ball off Blake's hand was given to Lakers in the 3rd quarter, which led to a 12-point swing. Things like that happen. Lakers had bad possession after bad possession in critical moments. Lakers was the team playing scared when they actually had the chance to win.

Look at all those big shots and FTs Mavs made at the end of the game. They deserve to win, although I don't like them.

it has. that 04-05 season started with a ghostly performance vs us. then that 06 finals where the mavs had a 13 pt lead in the 4th in game 3 and dirk was a ghost.

so no, this is the FIRST year where i have seen him take his team and carried his team like this in the 4th.

I can put the Rockets/Mavs feud aside. At least they're a Texas team

Almost. I know everyone is in love with the Thunder but they've been getting their share of superstar calls and notable free throw advantages.

This is possibly the best chance in a long time that we'll get to see an NBA team come back from an 0-3 deficit.
