Didn't Daryl Morey use advanced stats to tell him that this Heat team was only gonna win 45 games or so? Now they're in the Eastern Conference Finals with a good shot at going to the NBA Finals. Looks like Morey's data was flawed.

i believe that's their thinking. they truly thought the celtics were the only team who can stop them b/c of that defense and what they have each done to lebron/wade. the celtics also had that "mental" edge over those 2.

their next opponents don't have that mental edge over them. thats already a big plus for the heat.

i don't think bron was crying, but he was very emotional.

You will have to forgive Daryl. He is not used to getting superstars on his team.

He did say the right thing.

But don't exaggerate, he gets props when he does the right thing.

he only has to be on him for half a game bro. and lebron can guard him for short stretches also.

Ainge said he traded Perkins for Green because he wanted a guy that could sub in for pierce/garnett so they could get more rest. now they have the rest of may to rest. if he didn't help bring in allen/garnett he would be sent to the guillotine.

Great series. Boston played great defense and tremendous heart, and that would have been enough against any other team. But the Big Three of Miami lived up to their hype.

The championship is Miami's to lose.

Celtics just got demolished by them, LeBron and Wade are too good, those two alone beat the Celtics. Bosh barely made an impact.

This was what everyone was talking about when they heard lebron and wade were joining forces. When you have two guys who can do anything on the court whenever they want it's hard to stop even if you have strong team defense like the celtics do.

Boston is over, KG, Pierce, Allen are too old. They are done.

his advanced stats only apply to role players. it can't extrapolate what superstars can bring.

Pretty lame for the Celtics outside of Allen & West to just walk off the court. Didn't LeBron get a lot of heat for doing the same thing before? Of course since Pierce and KG aren't current NBA icons, we won't hear anything about this.

What a horrible day for LeBron haters / Kobe stans. I loves this game!!!

who cares about sportsmanship? those guys had a lot invested in the series and i have no problem with what they did.

i didn't mind what lebron did either. in great series like this, a lot of emotion is involved.

What would happen if Westbrook played for the heat? Would James and Wade yell at him on the court? lol

This was disappointing series. I was looking forward to it...then perkins got traded and Rondo got hurt during the series. It would've been nice to see Boston at full strength...pity, this is probably the last time Boston will get a shot at the title for a long time. Lebron really showed up at the end...he looked pretty calm and confident taking those shots at the end. This may be a turning point in his end-game choking.

wade and james are not off the ball players. they would get open just fine. hell, they will bring the ball upcourt themselves.
