I want(ed) the Heat to win the series. They have played better today. That still doesn't change the fact the refs have been pathetic and made themselves a major story of this game.
Classic diversion tactic. I haven't seen anyone crediting the officials for the victory, or debating that Miami has outplayed Boston today. I think the Heat win this game regardless of officiating. That doesn't change the fact that officials have a job to do and they didn't do it, instead losing their composure repeatedly. That warrants criticism.
Very objective calling by the refs. A superstar like Pierce kicked out? I like it. Miami is just the best team right now.
You can see the difference between Chalmers throwing an easy chest pass and LeBron throwing a much more difficult one.
chalmers come on. throws a pass away, almost throws a pass away to jones who isn't looking and then has a lebron/wade fastbreak up ahead and throws the pass away. also, bosh might have to retire out of shame after that last offensive possession.
You gotta respect Wade for hustling like that- and THERE'S the difference between LeBron and Chalmers.
I agree with you. I don't think the refs did a great job, hopefully nobody blames this loss on the refs. I will say that the double tech on Pierce/Wade was not anything out of the norm. I mean to all we know Pierce could've said something like "You piece of shi* mother f***", which could have instigated a fight. If that were the case, then the refs did the right thing by blowing the whistle early to stop anything further from happening.
Yes, at some point, some people have to get past the whole hating-LeBron-for-leaving-Cleveland thing. Guy was a free agent, had the right to sign anywhere just like teams have the right to trade players anywhere, he kinda screwed up the way he went about it, but ultimately what's done is done. Still respect him for being a helluva all-around player- just fun watching him and Wade play. Bosh shouldn't even be mentioned in any "Big Three" discussions- they have a "Big 2," like Jordan and Pippen, Olajuwon and Drexler, etc.
