Wade is clowning these guys out here, 76ers gotta step up in the 2nd half otherwise this series is over.
Tonight's lineup of games isn't very good. I didn't expect the Sixers to give much resistance and don't expect much from the Pacers either. Game 1 is the easiest one for the lower-seeded team to snag. Sixers had their opportunity on Saturday and failed.
I love the pacers, so I'm interested. They are my second favorite team in the league. I can't wait to see what Psycho T has in store for an encore. This game, I predict, will still be close.
ahh, but we haven't seen the classic heat post-halftime letdown. the heat get a big lead against a seemingly overmatched team that can't get anything going, they come out of halftime running the prevent offense and just taking jumpers, no one tries very hard on defense and the other team might even miss the first shot or two to make it seem like business as usual, then they hit a few shots, spoelstra pretends he's blind and doesn't notice his team isn't playing hard, and then after quick back to back baskets push it to a 13-2 or 15-4 type run, he finally calls timeout after all the damage has been done. let's see if the heat grow up a little and come out with some fire because even with good D the sixers certainly aren't going to keep missing shots at this rate for the whole game.
True about their letdowns, but this Sixers team doesn't have it in them to come all the way back and close out a game like this. Miami's defense owns their offense. The 1st quarter on Saturday might be the high point of the series for the Sixers. Their offense has been tragic since then.
going back to the regular season, i think that is 4 straight times wade has had a chance to throw lebron an alley-oop and i think all 4 have resulted in turnovers. he just can't throw it accurately.
And I thought Philly had a chance. How wrong was I? Spencer Hawes is officially a terrible basketball player. Jrue Holliday looks like garbage; he's going against Mike Bibby and he can't exploit his lack of quickness. Bibby actually looks like he could play another 10 years in the league. The entire Philly team seems unwilling to run down the court. I think Philly is plagued by poor PG play and an incompetent center. Honestly, I think if some of us grew 18" overnight we would be better than Hawes. And Doug Collins...
30 odd people voted for Philly to win the round. Its good to see Miami getting that killer instinct, lets hope they can keep this play up in the next couple of games.
