Monty Williams described Aaron Gray's injury as a “mild ankle sprain". Questionable for game 2. I don't think it will matter because the Lakers will win and I doubt very much Gray contributes like that again in the series.
I may as well get in on some of this. First off, I don't believe the Bulls' starting front court is elite. I saw Indiana get almost every single 4th quarter basket on kickouts and drives into the paint. Second, Okafor could play either front court position. He is what Chuck Hayes would be if he were 6-10: the best man defender in the paint. Third, I don't think this will happen but Paul and Jack on the same court to close out the game seems like a good idea. If I were LA, I would have Brown on Paul, Fisher on Bellinelli, Bryant on Petterson and Artest on Landry to start the game.
Tonight is most important game for the Hornets. Gasol will definitely step and may have a monster night. Aaron Grey playing?
chris paul can take another step in restoring his status as a top 3-4 player if he puts up another monster game and steal game 2.
The Hornets are very undersized So it was surprising that there (6/10 & 6/8) Front court dominated the first game but that wont last long I expect a big game from Gasol but it wont be a blow out like people think & I think the Lakers should keep switching on CP3 he wont be hot as game 1
hell will freeze over, pigs will fly, whatever cliche you prefer will happen if the lakers go down 0-2. it's in the rule book...........speak of the devil okafor #2
