did ya one better, I didnt really expect the demand for this, so I went ahead and clipped it out and left it at the mpeg2 resolution (720x480) Player Introductions from Playoff Gm 1 - full size official version?? not sure what you mean. this is the version clipped stragiht out of the game broadcast and instead of encoding it to xvid, I left it at full size everyone that wanted the HQ version, this is as HQ as I will be releasing...I dropped the bitrate a little (from 8M to 3M) but that isnt affecting the quality

Having been to a lot of basketball games, being there in person for Game 2, it was one of the best intros I'd ever seen. I remember how the Bulls intros used to seem so awesome, but having it to compare now is almost laughable. The only redeeming part of it that's left is the music. Even the Bulls announcer doesn't seem nearly as good as he did when I was younger. The only thing that would make the Intro better is if there were different variations of them for Rounds 2, 3, etc. They can be similar, of course, but vary it up a little bit here and there.
Man, that is just awesome. I remember watching the 2005 playoffs at TC and had something similar but not nearly as good as this one. Watching it in person is 10X better. I love how they have the rocket and center court and simulate fire coming out of it with lights and smoke. I thought that was the coolest thing ever. I' am willing to bet that we have the best intro in the NBA.
all i know is that the pregame intro video with the "contender" theme is SICK. it goes through the history and great players on the rockets...? yeah that one gives me goose bumps every time. i teared up a little bit the first time i saw it. wow.
