    UPDATE:

    Due to unexpected circumstances, an 830 Sunday night game (worst possible game time), most everyone wants to just watch it from home (or is Road Tripping!).

    We could do a Wed thing (hump day). But, of course, pre-game gathering downtown for Game 3 is always great. So, let's just kill this thread. And anyone who gets really excited this weekend after we win Game 1 can start another one.

    I'll be in town for Game 2, 3 and 4. Let's do this! First time in 17 years we've been to the playoffs!

    HP is right, 830pm on a Sunday is the absolute worst time for working guys...he has to be back in COL Monday morning, I have to be at work on the channel at 7am, Im sure lots of us in the same boat.

    Can't stay out late on Sunday night drinking at Jakes and still make it to work the next morning in any shape to actually do work.

    I'm out for Game 1. Maybe if we can put something else together later in the week for another game.



    Re-read Edit: Wed wont work for me, but that dont mean nuttin for yall. We are coming down the stretch in league, and we are only a few games out of first, so no way I miss Wed league.

    I agree its not the best time, but I work Sat-Thursday this coming week, so Sun 8:30 I would've actually been off of work by then. But oh well.

    The Rockets really **** the bed this week. Falling to #8 and having, at least for me, the worst schedule imaginable. Partly because of R2K's reasons and next Saturday I'll miss the game. The Black Crowes are a good reason, but still. Game 3 will probably be the only one that will be close.

    Even if the Rockets won the game last night they would have started on Saturday. It ended up working out for me since I had tickets to Crystal Castles on Saturday.

    naw, if they played the Spurs, it would've been Sunday also because ATT Center is occupied on Saturday with their IHL team facing..... the Aeros ironically
