    No, but we probably will....

I can already see Alston trying to hit a shot after a shot

    Hopefully no more injuries...

I think Howard could become really big during the playoffs

I'd be disappointed about losing the series, but realistically I'd be Ok woith the season. It would also depend on how we lost. Losing by 42 points in Game 7 (even if it is Game 7) left me a little flat last year.

I want, more than anything, to see the superstars on the court together gelling and really playing off of one another and growing as a tandem before our eyes. If we see that, it gives us hope for the years to come and also gives a clearer indication that our core will work we just need to keep building in with the supporting pieces.

Then again, a surpise run to the WCF sure would be nice! Call me greedy!

Anything less than a title I would be disapointed

That's a bold statement...based on what? personal opinion and pride. I think the Mavs, even though I hate them, can handle us and any other team too

I don't think I would be satisfied, but I certaintly would rather seem them lose in the second round than in the first round.

Your right, I meant two seasons ago. I have blocked last season out of my mind. Similar to the way a victim of trauma does!

I want JVG gone, so first round exit please. He's not the coach to lead us to the championship. To much turnover every year and he can't coach young talent.

Yes, if we were competitive in the 2nd round. I mean the games come down to coaching decisions and not blowouts.

    No!
I hate Mavericks, and we should beat them in the 2nd round.

    yes.

i don't see any reason to believe we are supposed to beat the mavs, suns, or spurs in a 7 game series.

i would be upset not to get out of the first round because at full strength (even without yao to a degree) we are better than the jazz.

Im a pragmatic person. That said, yeah I'd be satisfied with a 2nd round exit. Of course, that sort of satisfied would be somewhat different from actually being content. I want our team to win it all, I think this year could be that year, and if all the pieces come together right we can beat anyone in the west and win the title.

But that aside... it's going to be incredibly difficult to get around the Suns or the Mavs or even the Spurs. We are gonna meet one of those teams in round 2. If we push them to 6-7, give em hell, and look like a team on the upswing (which is what we are, should be for the next few years) I'd be cool with a 2nd round exit.

I'd love a title this season, but I just don't feel like it is our year. I started out predicting a WCF appearance and a loss in 6 to the Suns and I stand by that. I feel like its the Suns time, even though Dallas currently looks like the better team. Now if we don't win a title in the next 5 years or so I'll be really disappointed, because with two top 10 players, the best defender in the league, and some solid role players we should be able to get a title with (if not what we have) a few small missing pieces and some fine tuning.

A 2nd round exit isn't what any of us want... but it's much more acceptable than a 1st round exit or not even making the playoffs!

I agree with that completely. Phoenix will be beat down in the playoffs with that running style. I say, bring em on.

I was thinking of voting NBA finals exit, but nah...you are just one step away from your goal and you give up? Hell no
