His per 36 playoff numbers so far this post-season are nearly identical (maybe slightly better except for FT%) than his Orlando years when he was considered the second biggest impact player on the planet.
exactly, validates what I am saying defensively he's back to his prime and not needed as much on the offensive end based from the upgrade with the players around him.
Playoff Dwight is a beast defensively and finishing around the rim. I still shy away from his low post touches. He isn't very effective.
I remember someone (think it was Outlier) asking to be convinced why we are paying Dwight so much. After this playoffs, you should have your answer. He anchors our D and causes all sorts of issues on O when healthy.
Jordan hasnt faced a healthy dwight. He is big but not as strong as Dwight. Bogut will just hold him all series long.
If Dwight plays like he's been playing, I think we can beat the Spurs. No way anybody on the Spurs can match up with him
You have a point .... That was some bogus shiznit but it wasn't the entire series , just the decisive portions of the last two games. This was an entire series from the get go to the final whistle .... only difference is the Rockets were that much better than the Mavs and the officiating didn't matter in the end.
You've got to push back sometimes. Notice they didn't give Ellis a call later in the game on a similar flop. You don't want to argue with the refs all the time, but if you just take it, they'll keep giving it to you.
