Living in Dallas, I play in a lot of city basketball leagues, rec. leagues, church leagues, whatever I can get into. Right now I am into a league in McKinney (well North of Dallas) on Tuesday nights.

Where do you all play? Leagues? Any other Dallasites interested in playing pick up ball, or interested in getting together for some CC.NET camraderie....or whatever?

Heck, anyone from anywhere share your info. I am sure a lot of us play, and still try to relive the college, high school glory days.

I want to move to Boston so I can join THIS league!

I imagine the pre game warmups in the locker room are pretty fun, at the very least...

I have been trying to play alot more this year, but I am not in any leagues, yet. I live in Dallas, too, HOOP-T. Where can learn about some of these leagues that you play in?

Although I generally try to squeeze myself into any leagues, currently I'm just playing rec. Also, I'll be joining aau within the upcomming moths and slink off to blue chip camp in the summer. Of course I'm quite a gym rat too, so pick up games are a common activity.

    To paraphrase:

    Those who can, do....
Those who can't because of age, potbelly and bad back....coach!

Parks and Rec league...3 teams...one in first place, one tied for first, and one...well...they try really hard! :)

Email me, and I can fill you in. Whereabouts are you located, and where are you willing to travel in the metroplex?

I have no "glory days" but playing in a Basketball league would be really cool.

I have NO game, at least compared to actual talented players.

If its just a buch of guys having fun then I could play, think any teams would need a 5'9" 200lb+ slow no jumping guy that can punish you if you leave him open.

Just picture Jack Black's character in Orange County playing some ball and that is me :D
