Everyone has mentioned the obvious but I would not like to have Lebron or Chris Paul on the team. I don't care how good they are.
Trevor Ariza Rafer Alston Sasha Vuyab*tch Tim Duncan Dirt Nowitzki Greg Oden Steve Nash Eduardo Najera and standing out of bounds on my list is... Jerry Stackhouse
Ok, I have to come to the defense of my namesake. I can understand if you wouldn't want Starks on the Rox because it would mean the Rox wouldn't have won it that year he was terrible in Game 7. But the guy had a lot of heart and never backed down to Jordan and EVERYONE in NYC loves him, despite that Game 7. The guy refused to play for the Bulls after he was traded because he was too loyal. I totally agree w/ Malone, Stockton and Hornicek for obvious reasons and in today's league, I'd say Nate Robinson, Stephen Jackson, Kobe, Arenas, and Dampier. I don't mind the birdman--he's weird, but he's a super-roleplayer that you can bring in in limited minutes and really disrupt an offense.
I guess I have to admire John Starks for that. Still though, everyone on that list isn't necessarily because of the team that they are from or loathsome personality. I personally put Rafer Alston and Luther Head on the list, not because they are bad guys. But, because their bad play can seriously hurt the Rockets' chances of winning a game. Birdman would be great for the Rockets.

Anyone who says "no one from the Jazz" has never heard of Deron Williams. The guy is awesome, period.
