    Why shouldn't you?

A lot of people would say that my favorite player, Ron Artest, would qualify but I don't see any reason why I shouldn't like him.

How can anyone hate on the 'Sheed? It's impossible. On that Pistons Jingle Bells video with the rookies, he reminded me of Busta. What a big mouth. Literally.

Peja. He's a lights out shooter, great cutter to the hoop. I also believe he was underrated as a defender.

i love deron williams; he's so freaking good. I hate how he completely destroyed us last season, but he's just too good to not to like. He's probably my favorite point guard along with barron davis.

I liked Kyle Korver. I wish I knew how to quit him earlier. It would have never worked out between me and him. We're very different and.. this relationship would just end bitterly.

Good thing I've found Novak now..

    I don't really have any that I don't feel that I shouldn't like...

The list of players outside of the Rockets that I like is small...

Tell you what I will tell you the players I like outside of the Rockets and you tell me who I shouldn't like..

    Tayshaun Prince
    Jason Maxiell
    Kevin Garnett
    Rajon Rondo
    Dwight Howard
    Brandon Bass
    Kelenna Azubuike
    Chris Bosh
    Steve Nash

    That's pretty much it.

I have an uncontrollable mancrush on Shane Battier, and apparently that's not popular anymore.

I don't like Barron Davis, but have to agree on Deron Williams. He's just such a solid point guard. A better PG for Sloan could not have been found. Though I like Chris Paul better. But other than the fact that those guys are on competing teams currently, don't know why not to like them.

I always used to like Isiah Rider back in the day, for some reason.

    Antoine Walker!
that dude may suck but he is mad charismatic with "The Shimmy" and his unforgettable quote:

"Why do you shoot so many 3s?"
    "Cause there are no 4s"

... he's also the reason why the Heat beat the Mavericks in the Finals 2 years ago.

Seems like there are a lot of Deron Williams fans. I wish I wasn't one of them. In the great Paul vs. Williams debate, I'm a Williams guy. Sadly, he isn't the only Utah Jazz I like. I've been an AK fan for years, and I LOVE the way Boozer plays. I also love how he went from a 2nd round pick to an All-Star caliber player. Hell, I even stood by that guy when he jumped ship from Cleveland.

I'm also a huge fan of Stephen Jackson. He stole my heart in that Dallas series. I must have shouted "HE'S TOO TRILL FOR YOU, DALLAS!" a thousand times during the course of that series. He's a thug through and through and I kind of expect to hear Vernon Maxwell type stories about him for years to come, but he's a Port Arthur boy and a Mav killer. Like Vernon, I can't help but love him. But then, I'm also a Ron Artest fan. I admit I haven't watched him much in Sacramento, but I LOVED how he played in Indiana. The guy was an absolute pit bull on the court. I hear he's taking a lot of bad shots in Sacramento though.

Here's where it gets really ugly though:

I'm also a closet Manu fan. I hate him, but I wish he was a Rocket so bad. I could do without the flopping, but otherwise I just love how all of the Argentines play. They are all so intense and tough - taking charges, diving for loose balls, making the heady play. When you couple that kind of stuff with the talent Manu has - it's hard not to covet him. Thank god we have Scola now. I love having an Argentine on our team.

Perhaps more disturbing - I love Rocket killer Jason Terry. I can't explain it. I cringe every time he steps on the court against the Rockets and I hate every single other Mav, but for whatever reason, I appreciate Jason Terry's game and I'd kill to have him in a Rockets jersey. Maybe it's because his game reminds me of another guy most people hate but I always loved - Mamoud Abdul Rauf (Chris Jackson). I'm sure I murdered the spelling of his name, but yeah, I loved that guy. I guess I'm a sucker for pure shooting guards that aren't stars but are still somehow still seem to be a threat to drop 40 on you on any given night.

My Western Conference honorable mentions: David West, Mike Miller, Brandon Roy, Marcus Camby, Delonte West, Kyle Lowry, Allen Iverson, & Melo because I go to Syracuse University. :D
