people are celebrating like they said they got rid of reggie miller. i mean i didn't stop everything and watch players only because there was definitely too much talking over each other and not watching the game and like most former nba players they have barely a surface level understanding of the game, but unless they convince/pay their best guys to work an extra night, we're getting whatever they think is worse than reggie miller in place of players only. i liked webber in the studio. also they got rid of the starters on nbatv. are people blaming low ratings on these things instead of silver's stupid decision to let durant make the league boring for 3 years?
I have no clue how it lasted this long. I can't recall anything as universally reviled as players only, and it was hated from the start. It was just absolute trash.
i literally watched games on mute when it was players only. i would rather just listen to arena sounds, crowd noises, sneakers squeaking, and some player/coach chatter. they should experiment with just letting you feel like you've got great seats in the arena.
If they just got rid of Reggie Miller I'd be happy but instead they insist on putting him on all our games.
Its just what it is man, there arent many commentators that like us at all. Even my favorite Kevin Harlan doesnt like us. I think Breen, Van Gundi, and Jackson are the only ones who dont dislike us.
