Can anyone start a thread on the possibility of a three way trading to get a better pg? We have many mediocre pgs and we want a better one. Obviously no team is going to trade a good pg for a mediocre pg directly, but a three way trading might work. We need a thread for that.
By the way, here is an analysis of who is playing well and contributing and who is not after our first 12 games. http://dberri.wordpress.com/2007/11/23/the-houston-rockets-fail-to-launch/ Battier is really letting us down this year, but what the Rockets really need is a strong third player.
Yetti Players of concern: Battier, Mutombo, James, Wells,Alston and Head If possible, at least three of these players should be moved to upgrade!
I agree and you should add Luther to this list he is turnover prone and looks lost in the offense.Boston wanted Mutumbo a while back but doubt if the Rox will let him go since they do so much for his foundation he will stay here and retire. Package Rafer and Luther together for Calderon in Toronto??????
I disagree. He got 5 rbs in only a few minutes in the recent Heat game (for comparison, Yao got 7). If you see how he moves, he's still pretty agile. I have no worries of him stepping up if Yao ever goes down.
what perplexes the crap out of me is Rafer's ability to shoot absolutely great in the beginning of the game then shoot 3 wide open bricks and a wide open airball in the end!! wtf??
On defense Battier > Bowen too. People just notice Bowen because so many people complain about how cheap he is. If Battier could shoot the three from the top of the key better, he would be better than Bowen in all facets of the game.
A few players are not playing well, but the only player of concern to me is Yao. You can always replace the other lesser players. But I can't see how we can replace Yao in near future. If he continues to struggle, we will be in trouble.
Whether you like it or not, Rafer is the best guard defender we have. If that was not the case, then he wouldn't have been playing in the 2nd half. We put out our best defensive rotation to prevent the Clippers from coming back.
