If Marcus Thornton can play the 3 so can JT. As long as he is rebounding, which he can, what would we be missing if we played him right now instead of Bud?

All true, but he has not learned how to shoot from the outside or play the team game, but at this point, why not?

Nobody except martin has learned to shoot from the outside. You can't go wrong with anybody at the sf excluding battier and bud.

he can't shoot any worst than bud right now cuz bud is couldn't hit the gulf if he tried. actually for jt, in the little time he had so far shot the ball pretty well. he brings things that bud doesn't like added toughness and a slashing game. we need more scoring off the bench from the SF position.

This starting line-up would make me want to watch a game.

    PG - Ish
    SG - Taylor
    SF - Budinger
    PF - Scola
C - Miller (Can't block shots but great at facilitating the Sacramento offense from the free-throw line.)

I always believed jt should start even over Martin because of his potential, he's has a higher ceiling because a better defender from what i've seen, can make plays, can create for himself and can attack the basket better, but with adelamn hell' never get polish his game due to the lack of minutes.

Budinger is what he is a decent player but just lacks agressiveness and is not good at anything else when he's missing shots, he's alot like martin can only score off picks, spot-ups and transition buckets which only gives him role player potential.

While jt has a higher ceiling no way will Adelman sit bud for him because he fits his precious system that never wins championships.

You're big on guys earning their spot on the rotation, aren't you? You want to reward Chase's poor production by starting him and giving him a bigger role? It's time for a change, DaDa.

    It's Jermaine Taylor time.

I think that it is close to development time, and that unless we are showcasing Shane etc, it is time to move the young guys up.

Maybe it's an excuse, but Chase has had two injuries so far, one missing a big chunk of training camp. The guy just doesn't have it now, but it's inaccurate to say that he won't get it back IMO. I don't care for the idea of moving JT to SF because it looks like a temp fix. Are we really done with Chase? I don't think so. We aren't going to be running a small lineup for the rest of the year.

Not gonna say that it's all going to get fixed in time, but I think Chase will play better once we get Yao and Brooks back. More specifically Brooks, so that Lowry can go back to his role. I know Chase's shot and Lowry in the backup role are unrelated...but it just seems like we are all out of sync right now, and Chase's shot is just one of many symptoms.

Sounds like an excuses to me. I don't believe Chase is done by any means but he's definitely not living up to his hype. Chase is only proving to this organization and the city that he is unreliable and soft.

I had high hopes for this guy, I wish I could say that now. My prediction is he will not be rocket player, neither is Lowry with his ridiculous contract.

Chase will be ok....you cant lose your stroke through an injury....He'll be good in about 2 more weeks...Then yall gonna be saying start him..Our team is full of great role players...We have no "star"....a NBA real star not a international star

It’s not an excuse it’s a reason. Chase has been hurt it’s affecting his game.
Lowry is what he is, he works great in tandem with Brooks but is currently trying too hard.

Um, that what Von did. He could create off the dribble and didnt need someone to feed him. This team could REALLY use Von Wafer right now.

On a side note, I still dont see why Chuck's been getting minutes over Hill. It seems their roles should've been flip flopped from the start of the season.
The reason why we keep giving up layups is because we have no shotblocking. Brad Miller is just as terrible as anybody on defense and rebounding. You guys rag on Brook's defense, but Martin's defense has been highly atrocious. He makes too many bad decisions and loses focus WAY too often. Scola's just a flopper, and terrible defender. Chuck's a good defender, but he cant protect the rim.

I say play Taylor, Hill & Lee more right now. We need as much extra energy as possible. Too much lazy defense, and stale offense
