There one play that no one mentions or possibly even remembers but it's the Von-Hawk poster jam over 7'2 Diop of the Bobcats. WATCH IT IN HQ!! <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/LL8hgKE_YWA&hl=en&fs=1&color1=0x5d1719&color2=0xcd311b"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/LL8hgKE_YWA&hl=en&fs=1&color1=0x5d1719&color2=0xcd311b" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object> Not the play of the season but it sure is a canidate for best "In ya Face" dunks of the year.
Hmm, I really liked the last 2 plays to beat the Spurs in San Antonio. There were so many great plays from like each Rocket player. - Brooks making incredible layups. - Dikembe block parties - Landry dunks and working the boards and around the rim - Artest plays - Yao plays probably more i can't think of..
Anybody notice how the Celtic's bench waved their hands and towells and yelled at Von as he pulled the trigger? How weak is that.
Scola's layup, I was cringing when Brooks had the ball in his hands, but then he made the correct pass to Yao, who then made the correct pass to Scola. we had the division in our hands and we were the 2nd seed after that play. Too bad we completely blew it as the season ended.
You could make the argument that it was a blessing in disguise. We would've faced Dallas in the 1st round, and they ended up advancing despite no home court like we did. And the Nuggets are playing arguably better than the Lakers.
