At the very least you bring him in for a workout. I think PB's problems are behind him. I like the potential of the Texans young WR group, but I'd feel really good about adding a big target vet like Plax to the mix.
The Texans are just way too comfortable battlefightin' with who they got to give freaking Plaxico Burress the time of day.
We've been saying that they need to address the WR position for 3 or 4 years now. They finally drafted a couple of guys in the mid rounds of the draft, but putting your trust is such players in year 1 is iffy. We're all happy they got rid of Jacoby but Walter is really a #3 receiver. We're really in the same position we were last year where if Andre goes down, there's nobody capable of even being a temp #1. Maybe a rookie is capable of stepping up but that's yet to be seen. Plax would be our #2 if he came here. I don't know what the money situation would be like, but I see little reason to not at least bring him in for a workout. Bryant Johnson caught 6 passes last year and is currently listed as our #4 WR. C'mon man.
Never wanted him but if wants us than okay, let's take a look. Also, he would immediately be made Sherrif in Texas - he carries a firearm AND he's already shot a black guy. Our racist cops would love him.
Definitely want Burress! Would make an excellent target in the red zone to take some pressure off Arian and Andre.
I didnt like him before, but if he really wants to play in Houston, he would get a cheap contract. And I could sign him for this year, while rookies learn the game, and get some experience.

I would love Plax, take the gamble with his personality...get one of the best redzone receivers in the game...imagine the load he would take of AJ....
