My wife isnt from the area and I tell her how awesome it was to see the blimp in the air at random times. There is nothing like that anymore! There is a Lowes at the old hanger location. You can still see some of the old foundation.

There was this place in Pearland that closed a couple years ago called "Mary's Taco House" that place was the bomb, I went there several times a week. But apparently I was the only one. I moved from that area and went back like a month later and they were closed lol.
Not Houston, but the Tamale House on Airport in Austin just closed. Best breakfast tacos ever, no kidding.
I've only been on this side of town (or even really aware of it) for three years, but it seem that intersection has way too much natural traffic for anything to shut down, even West Oaks.
The structure exists, the name is still the same, the place looks the same, but no, it doesn't exist. Its soul is gone. The Treasures we knew and loved is no more.
