Tucker was a burden on THIS Rockets team, by regular and advanced stats he’s been awful.

curious to see if he comes up big for them, because I reckon we might have gotten off pretty good in this one

You weren’t going to get a better return than this. It’s a good trade.

This trade is all about the double draft. Rockets must believe that will be 2023.

Rockets need trees, we got some. We have too many lightweight plants.

Also who on earth is DJ Wilson, is he Kurucs level trash or should I be slightly intrigued?

Which is a better asset, a first rounder at about #25 or a second rounder at about #33? And in a deep draft?

So we have one knuckle dragger whining about a trade the Rockets won outright by actually getting things of value for one of the worst players in the NBA and another inventing fan fiction.

    Fun times.

don’t forget that drafting in the early second has financial benefits over the first round structure. Unless a first in this years draft is necessary for a later trade - I’m not feeling this move. Feels more to the benefit of getting PJ to a good team.

    No s***.
Maybe we need to put this on a whiteboard for some of the hardheads to understand.

I searched him first and saw a 6/5 SG. Not sure how I f’d that up. I’m loving this deal. Blew my expectations for what I thought we would get out of the water. I was thinking Trevor Ariza deal.

I would have traded him to Denver had the offer been good. Help us better that Portland pick.

Like the pick swaps and down to take a flier on DJ Wilson. I'm a fan of the deal as is, and Agustin could have positive value to a contender like the Clips. Maybe you can get one of those Pistons' 2nds from them

The one and only Kuruken be remembered for the many laughs he brought to Clutchfans as we swashbuckled and fought against the ever rising tides and dank seaweed laden high seas! May the beast be forever in you Kuruks!

I like the trade. I wasn't expecting much for PJ. 2023 could net us something big if Giannis walks, and everybody walks these days. Also, the 2st round pick can be combined w Portland's to sneak into the late lottery. I know the 2nd rounders are decent value, but the talent difference from 25 to 33 historically has been pretty significant. Look at KPJ for example, could be had at 25, but not 33.

I haven't read the whole thread yet, but my first reaction was very good on this trade. I want as many future assets as we can get and 2023 is excellent.

If you don't enjoy the trade, at least give Stone until the deadline to see what the full plan is.
