Not sure how to describe the emotion of great laughter and disbelief happening at the same time. That was me. I was also wondering... Why did EG not pass it to Harden? Why was he in so much in a hurry to just drop it on the floor like that?
Had a bad moment or two but better now than when it really matters. I'm with you PJ and most of us have your back!
If I might posit a theory... He knew he was out of it. He wasn’t expecting EG to pass it in to him - rightly - and still when he did he didn’t want to be responsible for the gall and was kind of trying to do a semi block out thing so someone else could grab the ball. But of course all that’s moronic. You’re open. They’re denying James. Grab the ball. Even if not at first then after.
That play almost cost us the game. According to D'Antoni, Tucker is the one usually takes the ball out but this time Eric Gordon did it and Tucker was confused if he should take the ball out again or should he not touch the ball...some confusion. Oh boy..I am glad we dodge that one..lol
Tucker didn't want to risk Harden's 800-zillion straight unassisted basket streak so he let the ball go rather than risk an accidental assist. Great player, Great Teammate.
Funny part is it was so weird by Tucker that even the knocks player didn’t know wtf to do. He acted like he was scared of the ball too...
EGo hadn't played much lately, so he probably thought he was an opposing player. Either that or he thought he already got traded. lol. So odd.
