Tucker just shows that if you're a superstar, like Harden or Hopkins, you don't really need practice. A roleplayer needs it though.
LOL if you give Bruno that many minutes we will score way less and they will score on us way more. Please.
Maybe that might work. Tilman will have to pay his salary for this. Can you confirm if Houston has a future 1st round pick from the Pistons? I think it's a second for sending Ariza.
He doesn’t need to be traded or not given an extension bro. We are overreacting .... BUT he don’t need to be thinking he’s getting 3/44 mil either. Helllllllll nah!! Oh and, he should be coming off the bench
But wood also had 31pts bro lol. Smh. I don’t want argue with you, but he ain’t getting another extension, that’s all I’m saying
Im talking about rebounds, PJ is not here to be a scoer. PJ did better on Kanter and Nurkic than Woods did. PJ was our best defender. He should get an extension. Especially if Harden stays, you just have to manage his minutes.
Rather trade EGo and House for AG. If we're going to trade Tucker & Clemons for Thybulle and Korkmaz. Rockets add more 40% 3P shooter/ball handler plus add more length AND add 2 more elite switch everything defenders. This would open up another roster spot for 6'6 Greenlight (36% 3P), 6'7 Broekhoff (40% 3P) or 6'6 JAnderson (36% 3P). Anderson has 7'0 wingspan and 44" max vert and is a dog on defense. 6'4 Wall/6'7 Korkmaz/6'5 Brown 6'5 Harden/6'3 McLemore 6'5 Thybulle/6'5 Nwaba/6'6 Green 6'8 AG/6'4 Tate 6'10 Wood/6'10 Cousins/6'9 Bruno
The question should be why are there suddenly Tucker haters on this board. He's playing literally the same way he's played for us the last 3 or 4 years. We won 65 games with Tucker as our PF. We almost beat the GOAT warrior team with tucker. In the past he was seen as the leader and role model but now that he wants a new contract, fans are turning against him? You'd think these guys are writing his checks or something.
Just short handed. Clearly we have a chance at a light 10 man rotation. The rockets can bring waves of energy, with good playmaking man this team is really good
We shouldn't be too harsh on PJ. He's been perhaps the hardest working Rocket for many years, and has come up big in games numerous times. Do I think he should receive an extension? I don't, though from his perspective, he's played the amount of starter minutes on playoff teams that should normally grant a player an extension, and he has contributed a lot over the years. People are now complaining about his game, but I think people forget he is already 35, has many miles on his legs, and clearly is on a decline. He shouldn't be a starter anymore, and shouldn't have been last season either. But given the circumstances last year, he was forced to play even harder with an extended role at center with more minutes, and was basically run into the ground. The Rockets relied on PJ a lot last year, (you can argue maybe our 2nd most relied-upon player, being our defensive anchor) so he feels he should be rightly compensated. So I think PJ does have the right to complain, but also the Rockets shouldn't give him a big extension either. The truth is the Rockets should not have put him that in that center role or even starter role in the first place with those huge amount of minutes. He has a limited skillset, but would still be valuable as a 3-D bench player to a team that wants to contend.
