Tucker just doesn’t fit the 5-out scheme that Silas is trying to implement. I don’t even remember the last corner 3 he had.

Dude is officially washed up. Should have gotten some trade value when we could.

I don't think he's washed up but its also unrealistic to think a 35 year old player can continue playing 35+ minutes a game. Thats a ridiculous expectation of him and not a situation we should be in.

Tilman should just give him some shares in Golden Nugget to keep him happy?

LOL a 5 out scheme requires 5 shooters.

A "shooter" that shoots once in two games?

Yeah. But Tucker is primarily a corner 3 specialist. He’s not your typical shooter that’s going to come off screens and/or spot up on different spots of the floor.

    He doesn’t fit anymore.

Silas like MDA do not trust the young guys enough, rightfully so, Tucker has been thru the trial of fire (Playoffs), the others were not.

He's fit that last three years, we had no problems making work the last three years. You just need a floor spacer to keep someone out of the paint.

Had to get rid of Roco for more Offense in Wood.

Basically traded for more points but lost some grit and grind.

Everyone always says it's a make or miss league and if that's true there is no market for a starting, undersized, "lockdown" defender, that score 5 points in two games. It's not coincidence that PJ's last two games were with Harden out and a hobbled Harden that couldn't penetrate. He's nothing with a playmaker drawing a defense while he camps at the corner 3. You can't pay a guy who NEEDS another guy to help him get his.

PJ's not a Draymond who can actually lock down guards and bigs, disrupt passing lanes with his long ass arms, or play point forward with elite passing. He's a great role player for a team trying to contend period.

Yea cause PJ's scoring is the reason we havent been winning games, thats such a ridiculous notion man. What? If that were true than most role players in the NBA would not get paid.

PJ can guard 1-5, I dont know what this last part means. Yea I agree PJ is a great role player for a team trying to contend, what is it you think Harden is trying to do.

Not just scoring but his lack of anything else. Corner 3s and that's it.

For example, you can't use him in "horns" or top of the key pick because they will just double Harden fast. Why... because PJ can't pass, has no handle, can't create crap with the ball in his hands. You have to park his ass on the corner 3 and wait for James to do all the work. Having a 4 that can hit the corner 3 but also create off a Harden pass out of a double team. You could do it with a 5 but Wood is slight while setting picks and while he can create he's a bit awkward.

You mean 3 and D....like two of the most valuable things in the NBA.

So what if you cant run horns? We never really rant that play when PJ wanst on the team either. Who else on this team are you running horns with??? Tate and Nwaba are too small to role and neither are amazing playmakers. Im not seeing the argument here.
