I might have to commit suicide if this is true.

Well ****. Doc says so much by saying so little....

Does anyone else feel disrespected by this as a Houstonian?? For crying out loud they're the g*ddamn HOUSTON ROCKETS.

Maybe this is just my knee-jerk reaction, but if we're selling the city short to appeal to an international (read: Chinese) fan base of Yao-only lovers, then SHAME ON YOU LESLIE ALEXANDER.

If this is the case, then I'm offended. As a Houstonian and as a Houston Rockets fan.

How about having 'Houston' down the side of the shorts. Would the NBA approve of that?

I, for one, don't give a hoot about the uni's, just 'what' fills them. The present Rox uni's need to be celebratorily burnt (along with some of the shmoes 'what filled them').

That new Cavs logo is pretty slick, actually...Notice the lack of teeth on the sword.

I'm offended as a Houstonian as well. I mean, ****, Yankees bandwagoners have no problem sporting their stupid "NY" caps everywhere.

As for the Cavs jerseys... yuck. Those scream college. Then again, I'm a huge fan of the pjs...

    hmmmm

like I asked, don't other sports with international appeal (like the NHL, soccer) have emblems rather than city names?

I guess it is starting to make sense. But I still disagree. It should spell out the city.

    but AntiSonic,

NY does not spell out New York, anymore than HR spells out Houston Rockets.

i like the idea of an H emblem.

i don't know about you guys, but i refer to the city of houston as "the h" anyway... my question is: don't the new orleans hornets have an "h" symbol already? i think i've seen it on hats. i guess that would make ours an "r"...

i dont think anyone has suggested tassels yet. perhaps there are tassels. or maybe The Cell lady designed us uniforms with hats. now that would be something. ;)
