Don't know if they have Old Chicago back in Houston, but it's around $8 (buffet) here in CO and it includes a salad and dessert. The only other place I know of that's decent is Double Daves.
Never go to Cici's'. All of the ones I've been to have been terrible. Yea they got pizza buffet, but the pizzas taste like crap
My office is just a few minutes from that location. The quality of the pizza is not what it used to be, and they have a hard time keeping the buffet stocked. A month ago, the buffet was still about $11 with a drink.
Let's go to double daves (double daves)... But you won't have time for pizza if you try the pepperoni rolls first. It's been years- does gattis still make a bbq chicken pizza with cilantro? that thing was pretty good.
Yup, that's the one we order from. They really don't seem to care anymore, and you're correct. The pizza's taste like they were rushed, not crispy, kind of doughy, and when I said $26, it's like $12 for a pizza then you have to pay for every topping you want, then tip. Love their turkey lasagna though.
CiCi's cinnamon roll desert is actually quite good. CiCi's also has "Italiano Garlic" pizza, "The Meltdown" pizza, and Garlic Breadsticks which are good. Everything else, I steer clear of. My 9 year old son likes going there, so unfortunately mine is an informed opinion :grin:
I stopped going to Double Dave's when my sister put a live bug hiding in her salad in her mouth, she spit it out and it was crawling on the floor. I know, who eats salad a Double Dave's? But just the thought of what happened grosses me out to all locations. (This happened at the 529 location).
