What could they possibly be hiding? They traded a player with a history of back issues, recovering from a back injury, who attempted to play a while ago and was still unable to play. This was known throughout the league. Even though the Rockets' doctors clear him to play, he was cleared to play a number of weeks ago as well and showed he was still not ready. No reason to believe he would be 100% ready to go this time either.

I don't think this would be about him being "ready to go" right now, if they void the deal it'll be about the future. They won't want to trade anything for players they don't intend on keeping long term. DMo has been playing already recently so we know he can play right now, the issue is if they see something to indicate future chronic problems or a high reinjury risk.

Yay? According to some metrics, the worst PF in the NBA returns to practice from his most recent fluke injury. I guess that's a good thing.

Or does it? I mean they did trade him while he had value.

Maybe they knew what detroit is finding out?

Obviously what you are saying a team must do is not true. And quit saying physical. It would be waiving your right to void a trade, like with Mobley

Just let it play out. It will all work out. This is just basketball NOT life and death situation.

I'm not a DMO-of, but it would be awesome to see him get back to his high level form somewhere in the NBA. How hard on your back is it to alter shots, rebound, shoot 3s, set picks and roll for lay ups? He can hit FTs decently too.

    This.

I do no want to see this deal get rescinded for the reasons you outlined. Rockets should be playing for next year and though I love D-Mo, I think the pick is better for the future. You run the risk of getting nothing if that happens. My hunch though is Detroit will approve unless it's major.

Backs are inherently chronic problems with high reinjury risks.

Also, where has he truly been playing recently? He's not fine... Hasn't been fine all season. Doubtful he's ready to log big time nba minutes now, which is why the Pistons would void the trade.

    Stop spinning.

I was wondering if DMo could pass the physical. This could be terrible for DMo. Not a good time for him to be negotiating a new contract.

Waive right to do the physical exams. Often done when one player of the trade is injured. Must? Not. Often done? Yes.

Obviously you think you are in position to tell me how to speak english. No you are not.

He played 4 games in RGV just before the all star break where he was playing significant time. You should know this.

You do realize that what you are responding to is pretty much exactly what Mathloom and Clutch just said right? Are they "spinning" in your opinion or are you just trolling?
