BBS trying to find every reason to hate on Morey. Amazing.

Morey doesn't have a bad rep with other GMs prior to this trade. So, winning trades means you get a bad rep???? Does Ainge have a bad rep among other GMs, too.

A bad rep would be something SVG might get if he voids this trade. He would be screwing with two teams...both HOU and PHI. SVG getting backlash is just as plausible as your claim that Morey would get a bad rep.

And note: If trade is voided, the teams involved will not be allowed to say why, because that is a medical privacy right of DMo's. The media won't get a medical report of why. Only DMo can say why. Just like DET and HOU were not allowed to mention Elliott's liver issue (or whatever it was) after the Horry/Elliott void.

I don't think that anyone is blaming Morey since everything is clearly Harden's fault.

Sauces: Rockets to release Tywon Lawson if trade is voided.

It was a kidney issue... and Elliott has since received a kidney transplant for it, so definitely was a valid reason (which didn't manifest itself for several years).

DMo has a back issue... you can't ignore it whenever you want. Its an issue now and very well could be an issue in the future, hence why the Rockets were willing to part ways with him.

You looked at it as simply a salary dump when others tried to tell you otherwise.

Now you're trying to save face... get over yourself and admit that you were once again wrong to completely bash every single aspect of this trade, when there is a clearly established angle that has the Rockets coming out on top in the deal.

The obvious spin to further agenda arguments from the Btg camp and the anti-Btg camp is pretty pathetic.

Why are you guys making this about who was or will be right on the internet? Did you read Clutch's post in this thread, "this"-ing Mathloom's post. The rest of the board just doesn't do this spin stuff like this is a political website of polarizing views. The rest of the bbs is wondering how this topic affects the Rockets.

This is what Rockets fans are thinking about:
    1. If voided, it would be strong evidence that the #1 pick is better than the player, since two NBA teams chose the Pick over the Player
    2. If not voided, we can hope it means DMo will be slow to contribute for SVG this year, thus hurting the Pistons this year (leaving Morris as starting PF) and improving our pick.

    What Bobbythegreat is thinking:

How are my adversaries going to spin this against my position on DMo and Morey and how can I counter that?

LOL, I don't look at it as having "adversaries" I just look at it as saying the way things are (and I said just about the same thing as Mathloom right before he did btw) and there are people who are wrong about it. In that second group part of them are just intentionally trolling.

Like I said initially, this is a lose-lose situation. If the trade is voided, it means that there is something seriously wrong with DMo's long term health, if it is not voided, it means the Pistons are confident that DMo will be fine in the long term.

The only way this works out for the Rockets is if they are wrong, no matter which position they take.

As many others have pointed out, in the Horry situation the medical team who voided the trade was the winner. Detroit's medical team is the one poised to void this trade.

Conveniently ignores the impact of a first round pick, in exchange for a injury risk player. Teams take risks on semi-injured players all the time. The Rockets did so with Howard after his back surgery. Just because a player passes a physical by no means does it guarantee future health both short or long-term.

Also you again refuse to acknowledge how off-base and inaccurate you were with your hot takes as of yesterday when you were spouting off about how DMo was healthy enough for weeks. That is not trolling... that is calling out a blow-hard.

Except the Rockets are the one getting back the injured/damaged player.

I thought that's why we have heard nothing about his back and Morey traded him. Telling you guys that injury is going to affect him his whole career
