Wait, why would they overpay for Smith when they have a nice solid front court in Drummond/Monroe?? That means either Smith is going to be playing SF, or they will shop Monroe. I'm assuming the former.

This seems crazy. Giving Josh Smith minutes at PF (or C) subtracts from the development of Drummond and Monroe. Playing Smith at SF has proven to be a failure. Dumars strikes again.
Easily one of the worst gms in the NBA. I guess he is still living off of that championship from when he acquired Rasheed. This move looks terrible just like the Ben Gordon and Charlie V signings looked terrible.

Someone suggested on twitter Monroe/pieces for Rondo. Rondo, Drummond, and Smith would be a nice little trio. Still not sure why Dumars did this signing though. Monroe is no scrub.
