The first one was very good. Tightly written. The next two were okay, writing was okay, sometimes good and sometimes downright hokey. I hope that since the 3rd finished a story arc and the fourth would be starting anew, that they'll try a bit harder on the writing.
Monkey Island is one of the best pc adventure games ever. Also Gabriel Knight - Sins of the Fathers. Unfortunately pc adventures games went to hell once 3d was introduced. I wish they would bring back 2D.
the first scene of the third movie with capt jack was the best part of that thing. The rest was just r****ded. The movies became progressively less funny with each sequel.
