He is being paid his due respect. Worthless traitors deserve this treatment and then some.

It's funny, his game retired at the same time Jordan left the Bulls; but he isn't making it official until now.

You know what else is funny? You can say that his game wasn't as good, but after they both left the Bulls Scottie's career looks A LOT better.

He spoke to MJ, MJ told him he's too fat and will never amount to anything because he doesn't take anything seriously.

Pippen's a great player who will be missed by real basketball fans, not people with foolish grudges. Move on.

Thats what sports are all about, grudges and rivalries. You think any Boston fan will celebrate the retirement party of Derek Jeter?

    MALONE AND PIPPEN SUCK :p

i never liked pippen, even before he went to houston. I think he is the most overrated player in the history of the nba(atleast of the players i know). The only reason he looked good was becasue he played with Jordan. If 4 people are trying to stop Jordan there are 3 people always open, and pippen took advantage of that.
He is overrated, i am glad he is gone, Although i always liked it when Houston destroyed his team:D.

If Mj supposedly did everything for Pippen why did Pippen have his best year alone and why did he still play well after Mj left?

i do not think he played good when Jordan left, He had one good year(after the first 3 championships). I'm not saying i think Pippen is a very bad player, i think he is overrated. Alot of players had one good year. But after the 6th titel, pippen never played good. He was bad with the rockets and he was bad with the Trailblazers.

One good year, hardly, he played well every year in Chicago, the year Mj left he just proved that he could play well on his own. He didn't play that well in Houston but that offensive scheme was total crap, so chalk it up to a wasted year, but if you had watched him in Portland you would know that he played well. As the team leader, he let the younger guys do the bulk of the scoring while he gave them guidance and turned it on when he needed to (WCF 2000, I know).

1.8 seconds. Horrible attitude, chronic quitter - this is why I don't like him.
