How is nobody talking about the UT-BC game here? http://abclocal.go.com/ktrk/story?section=news/sports&id=6840628 Saw this on First Take this morning. Jesus Christ that's a crazy win. A relief pitcher throwing 10+ innings??
Well you know what they say, you can never throw enough pitches in a game. I'm pretty sure that's how the saying goes.
almost as predictable as texxx... good job. but fyi, my post had nothing to do with UT and everything to do with texxx's obnoxiously attempt to turn every damn thread he posts in into a flame war. no one came in this thread to hear him ramble on (again) on DWI charges. we came in here to discuss the tourney. now run along back to the peanut gallery.
1) Your hatred of anything UT is comical. So comical in fact that no one here takes you seriously. It seems like you care more about Texas than Rice. You have become a caricature of yourself... congratulations. 2) Read this article. Austin doesn't seem too upset, would you agree? He has just entered the land of Texas athletics legends with Campbell, Young, and Durant. Poor kid . 3) You will not destroy your arm by one long outing. If Augie had pitched him again yesterday, then yes... abuse. But as long as he rests up and doesn't throw again until this weekend he should be fine. And I can guarantee that if Graham had done that with an Owl pitcher you would be singing his praises.
The stands were still mostly full. There was a caller into local radio this morning about how he left 6th street and still made the 25th inning. he still had to park blocks away and had to search for 2 seats together.
don't you remember freshman orientation? they led us blindfolded to the quad, just under the stallions where they carved bevo on the backside of our newly shorn scalps? they then mixed the blood with yellow food coloring along with maroon and gold coloring that mixed into the perfect burnt orange? they then dipped our naked bodies into the perfect burnt orange mix created by our blood and we vowed to forever defend ut against the heathens of other less successful athletic programs? was that just me?
first pitch in the rice/lsu series is a little under two and a half hours away. go rice! i completely forgot fellow khs alum michael fuda was on team. tcu/texas start tomorrow.
