You can get them at any time of the year.

They come from Mexico. Prefer Hawaiian ones.

I love pineapples but I can't keep them on my hands for long. I use to work at Cole's flea market and had to peel fruit and cacti. The acid in pineapples tear my hands up.

The show "Psych" features a pineapple in every episode, every season (1-4). This would go into the "Useless Pineapple Trivia" category.

I'll tell you what they need to bring back, the forgotten/defunct cereals. Someone needs to start manufacturing Klondike Pete's Crunchy Nuggets again!

The name of the sandwich is "The Works" and here is what it has:

The Works: Tri-tip steak, Onions, Cilantro/Garlic sauce, Pineapple, Jalapenos, Olives, Cheese, Tomatoes and Lettuce

    The cilantro/garlic sauce kicked ass!

If anyone is in the Bay Area/San Francisco/Berkeley for a trip, definitely check the place out. Decent price for the portion (about $8). And the Mango Smoothies were really good also.

I took the picture from Yelp and here is a click to the Yelp page: Brazil Cafe

Forgot to answer the rest of your questions!

They were really generous with their tri-tip steaks and they were cut in big chunks. I think they were grilled also. The bread was just a french roll. Although it doesn't sound to speculate from just the ingredients, but together, all those simple ingredients created a great sandwich.

Mangoes. I had a mango yesterday, it helped me stay off sugary desserts.

    Pineapple express is the bomb!

Peaches are good also, straight up or grilled.

Mangos, pineapples, peaches? Sounds like a lot of you just don't hit the produce section very much. lol

To contribute to the topic... avocados are my favorite addition to sandwiches or salad's lately. Deli turkey, avocado, ranch on toasted bread. Bueno.
