I'm so glad someone around here can take the pulse of America and offer an objective description of what is going on. Your concern is appreciated.
I think the objection comes in when one uses their family members to say stuff that is untrue, and made up BS. No one objects to using their family members to illustrate the truth. However when you have Palin who has yet to prove she graduated from high school out there, making stuff up and using her special needs child as pawn for those lies, it is offensive to those of us who care special needs, and the truth in general.
