Team has been winning w/o Pike. However, I'd like to see him get minutes with Mark Jackson. Mark can set Pike up when and where he likes the ball...i.e. he may become a more effective shooter with a skilled old school PG playing. I do like Boki getting some PT...he needs it to learn some ball mgmt.
Pike's time will come. He's a shooter and his touch will return - and we will need him somewhere down the line. It's a luxury that we're able to win without him. Boki is the more complete player but really going thru a rookie year now; BTW, I really like his defensive efforts. Remember what Steve Kerr, relegated to the bench most of the year, did in the playoffs last year? You can never have too many shooters. D R
count me in the club. pike needs another shot. the guy can flat out shoot but is coming off an injury. he's still the best shooter on the team and to keep defense's honest and to make them pay for double/triple teaming yao we'll need his shooting.
He should be the best shooter on the team, but he's not. Until his touch comes back, he's a liability on the floor. Let him find his shot in practice. I trust JVG will put him in when he can help the team.
