    I don't know if you guts noticed, but his arms only look bigger from the side like in the picture, but from other angles they just say " Hey look, were one season older than before!!"

    Watched Yao play last night on China's national TV and got the following impressions:
    1.STRENGTHS:He still has the softest touches while handling the ball. First class shooting skills. Expect him to have a lot of blocks in the coming season. He totally dominated on the defensive end against Syria, blocking two shots in a row once which was very spectacular. He controlled the boards while on court.

    2.WEAKNESSES: Yao still got a little problem while he was trying to catch the ball. Sometimes he just couldn't hold the ball tight enough not to allow a steal.I also got the impression he at times couldn't hold his postistion tight in the paint when double or triple teamed ,which makes his teammates hesitant to pass the ball to him.

    3.NOT SURE:I didn't see a marked improvement in Yao's strength. Nor did I notice bigger and stronger arms maybe because I didn't note how they looked like before this offseason. What's more, the opponents were too weak to make Yao show his true colors. So let's just wait and see.

    Man what was going on in this game? Almost every picture shows somebody down on their butts. Did they have any refs in this game? :confused:

    I heard they don't call the game as tight in international competitions. So it's more like a wrestling match out there.

    it is actually a wrestling match, players do anything to get the ball and score. see those nasty scars yao got on his arm? oh wait a minute, my bad, he got those from playing in nba...

    how much do yao weight now?and is he more explosive with his new muscle?because that is what will help him to become the player every one expects him to be.

    Curious to know how Yao did against the 7'3 guy.

    4/5 F/G
    7/9 F/T
    10 Rebounds and 3 Blocks


    Jaber Rouzbahani Dar's stats:

    4 pts in 25 minutes of play time
    2/4 F/G
    0/1 - 3 pt attemps
    4 Rebounds
