Nice recap of the encounters, sweet pictures. I'm too chicken to do any of that. Great to see some positive experiences and interactions with the players, and (oookay I'll stop my diatribe of how the GARM stands to benefit and all that crap before it starts ) I wanted badly to make it to that game and the Lakers game, cuz I myself have an undefeated streak of games I attend against LA'ers (I Watch-We Win!) But I'da been telling a different kind of story about brakes falling apart, roadside assistance & that kind of thing.
i saw you guys there. Don't know if anyone saw me there. I was asian the one with the hoodie and was with my gf who looks white but is mexican. Man i tried to get down there before the game but the security guard wouldn't let me. He had some bull**** excuse like manager would be mad at him and he practically pointed her right over here. lol that sob. but i stood up in section 116 for about 10 minutes trying to get your guys' attention but couldn't. Also two rows back there was a middle-aged man with I presume is his father who told me they were from galveston. One was wearing an Astros baseball cap and the other had a longhorns shirt on. During the player intros, we were the only ones in the section that was clapping for the rockets and when cuttino was introduced, I clapped for him too and I turned around and he clapping as well, giving me a ohh what the heck look. pretty funny. Basically we were the only ones in the section cheering the rockets. THere was these two little kids and one had the pinstripe jersey on, but they were with some guy who had a black clippers long-tee on. But that guy looked familiar. what else...plenty of rocket fans around. Yao got a pretty big round of applause when he was introduced. Cuttino and Yao had much to talk about prior to the game. they were sharing
