    That sux, I haven't used it in a couple of years.... It was great then....

    Nothing like taking money away from Americans in order to make more money off of them....

    I second this, but would like to stress that you have to purchase the very top of the line Intel to have the performance advantage. At the P4 2.4ghz range, you can get an AMD athlon for much cheaper that performs the same or better.

    Have you thought of building your own PC? Or do you not want to hassle with that?

    FYI, Intel should be making some pretty big price-cuts in October if you're willing to wait that long. As an example, the 3.06 GHz P4 is supposed to drop from around $400 to under $260'ish for wholesale prices.

    I'm waiting for the 64 bit AMD chips. My next machine will be AMD 64-bit powered... I think. :)

    They are not alone in that. I have sent/received 4 emails from HP and everyone was answered by a person with a foreign name.

    That being said, they were all answered promptly with very well written and understandable emails.

    Everybody and their mother is outsourcing customer support overseas. ISP's such as Earthlink have done it as well.
