Wouldn't having a great back like Bell take some pressure off of Watson? I'd definitely be all for that. I don't think anyone was afraid of Lamar Miller running all over them...and once they game planned to shutdown Miller it was relatively easy for other teams to do if I remember correctly. Bell, probably not so much.

Getting bell would basically be like having Foster 2.0. Very helpful for a young star qb

Rumers that he ballooned up to 260 at one point while not playing and taking a full season off is enough red flags for me. I wouldn’t trust giving him guaranteed money when you can find cheaper options elsewhere. Tevin Coleman anyone?

Rumors? Not actually facts? Are we sure he's ballooned to 260?

Pretty crazy how Bell and Darnold were tasked with basically the Jets future. Now the former has been released and the latter has been...not good.

This Oline too sorry to attempt to bring his ultra patient running ass here... He won't be able to pick and choose a hole here...

Another RB that the Texans could have picked up on the cheap? Too bad we gave up a top 5 WR for a 3rd stringer that the Cardinals were going to cut anyway!

Wonder what BoB would've given up for him in trade?
    A future 1st and two 3rd's?
We're all out of good players except for Deshaun!

No way this team spends that kind of money right now. Payroll is already high, results are low, lame duck coaching staff, nothing to really play for, no fans in the stands anyway, = no chance whatsoever that this team spends that kind of extra money on the running back position. And even if they did, it would be a mistake. So scratch that. THIS organization might actually do it...

No..they won't sign Bell. However, they have everything to play. Texans win 3 games in a row, they are at .500. Players are playing for contracts too. There is another playoff spot. Get to 9 wins, you may make the playoffs.

I think they can do it. This is not a bad team. In the right situation they could actually contend.
