I'm with them on Bones Hyland, McBride, Roko P.....Jared Butler heart thing concerns me. I can only wish Jalen Johnson and Kai Jones will still be around at #23 I don't care for Ziare Williams
I'd absolutely love it if Detroit was dumb enough to do that. Can't see it actually happening though.
I was having a hard time between Green and Mobley until I saw this image and realized Mobley was the shortest of the three.
Wow....I missed that it was 5 Roko's vs a USA All Star team. What you are saying is the sum of the USA team was greater than the sum of the Croatian team. It's a team sport Big D......not singles tennis.
Just saying Roko's defense was just okay. All those guys he guarded still got theirs. Even Weems did well.
Several drafts have Kai Jones available near #23. Garuba as well. Some players move up.....some fall back. Nice to see I'm not the only one that saw Scottie Barnes vs Michigan as a disaster. _______________________________ And I doubt Thunder and Warriors allow Kuminga to fall to 8th. *Kuminga becomes the Thunder best SF/PF on day one. Better than Kenrich Williams at SF and Darius Bazley at PF *Warriors would love Kuminga with Kelly Oubre leaving and little to replace him.
Can we use some Combination of Wood, 23 , 24 to land Davion Mitchell. Unbelievable 3 point shooter, could be a good long term fit at PG I like the long term prospects of our smalls going forward. Mitchell Green / Brooks Porter / Tate
Best bet would be trade Wood to the Hornets for Zeller and the 11. 11th pick may not get you there, but you sill have the 23 and 24 to move up. Even if Mitchell isn't still there, the Rockets should explore this. Charlotte is horrible at drafting and playoff starved. Wood would look great running the PnR with Ball. I think a future 1st for the Rockets should be in order as well with maybe top 5 protection. Also, Zeller is an expiring so Tilman is happy, but Stone should explore taking back a bad contract and an asset for him at the deadline. Lastly, Zeller is great for player development because he never asks for the ball. I see him as a poor man's Capela that will do the dirty work and let the young kids develop. I have a strange feeling Wood is headed to Charlotte.
2018 So all these kids were about 15 or 16 years of age. My point is that all of these kids have improved; but silly to say just the American players improve year to year. Prkacin is better as well. Doncic is not the fastest player in the NBA but manages to get by players or get his shot off. Prkacin has a quick side to side dribble that he uses to get his man off balance, can go into a step back that you have to respect because of his 6'9" frame. Little hook shot in the lane that looked confident enough that it can be extended to 7 or 8 feet out if he didn't have that In his arsenal already. A big man has to have something that they can fall back on when they can't get all the way to the hoop like they did in highschool or college. This is why I can't say Evan Mobley will be a complete bust like Kawme Brown. At least Mobley and Prkacin have a hook shot. Gives them some staying power for the NBA.
You are welcome my friend. Always good to see when you comment in this forum. Just finished listening to the podcast "Dunc'd On" scouting report on Evan Mobley. Provided by @JayZ750 on another thread, "...Mobley Short" Very telling, some stats thrown in. I would recommend listening to the podcast. Much of what I have seen as well.
I haven't evaluated everyone but from the ones I have, I really, really like JT Thor's potential and Zairie Williams. If we can get these players, I'd be happy; #2 - Jalen Green #23- JT Thor #24- Zairie Williams
