Nash is far more limited in every category but offense. And most importantly, he can't defend. It more than negates any value he adds on offense. With that said.....For a player that supposedly can't shoot Rondo averaged slightly less than just 3 PPG compared to Nash. Did you not factor in age, durability, and all around game? Steals, rebounds, blocks, lock down defense are terms that are omitted in Nash's game.
PG- 1) Paul. 2) Williams. 3) Nash. SG- 1) Kobe. 2) Wade. 3) Roy. SF- 1) LeBron. 2) Anthony. 3) Durant. PF- 1) Gasol. 2) Bosh. 3). Dirk. C- 1) Dwight. 2) Yao. 3). I don't even know.. I wouldn't put Yao over Dwight.. I don't care if Yao beats Dwight 1 on 1 if Dwight can pull a team better AND stay healthy.
Nash is better at running a team than Rondo is. Look at the accomplishments. They speak for themselves. Whether or not Rondo is top 3 on his own team is arguable. While Nash is almost single handedly took the Suns to the WESTERN conference finals this past year.
Can you please name Nash's accomplishments? Rondo has won a championship. Has Nash? Rondo was definitely the best player on the Celtics this year. He carried that team in the Orlando series.
PG: Paul, Rose, Williams SG: Wade, Bryant, Roy SF: Durant, Anthony, James PF: Nowitzki, Duncan, Bosh C: Yao, Howard, Bogut
if you're talking about the past few years, then yeah nash was better than rondo. if we're talking about present time like right now, then yes, i would have to say rondo has recently surpassed nash. this is a debatable topic. just cause someone doesn't agree with you, that doesn't qualify them as an idiot, idiot.
Being objective, Lebron wouldn't have made it out of the first round vs the Lakers either. 2x MVP, it's a team game. and Rondo lost them the Finals series by failing to hit open jumpshots while getting burned by Fisher of all people on the other end...
What's with the name calling? Some people like Burger King over Mcdonalds. Some people prefer Honda in comparison to a Toyota Others like Rondo over Nash. Who's better is debatable. It boils down to a matter of personal preference. No need to call others idiots.
Nash proved his worth by bringing the suns to the brink of a finals appearance. His presence and heart are the only thing keeping that team together. There is no way to know for certain, but I couldn't even see them making the playoffs without nash, much less the threshold of the finals. And on lebron vs durant, you all know deep down lebron is the better player. Better passer, rebounder, scorer, athleticism, defender, maybe durant is the better shooter but lebron shoots 50% so no complaints there. Sure durantula probably has better character, but imho that is not enough to override all the above attributes
It was the way he said it more than anything. No bringing up any facts to back up his point, just saying it as if it is fact. So decided to use the exact same format as his post to say something. I did not give any reasons, did not debate anything, just said it as if it was fact. Not meaning to be a blow towards him.
PG: Williams, Paul, Nash/Rondo SG: Bryant, Wade, Roy SF: James, Durant, Anthony PF: Gasol, Bosh, KG/Duncan/Stoudemire C: Howard, Yao, Lopez
Rondo has 3 future HOFers. Lets see what he does without them. As far as Nash's accomplishments: -Helped turn around Dallas -Single-handedly turned around Phoenix making them a contender -2 MVPs -Conference finals this year when nobody expected it Nash is a sure-fire HOFer, Rondo is a budding star. You really want to debate their accomplishments?
Say what now? PG: Paul, Williams, Nash SG: Bryant, Wade, Roy SF: James, Anthony, Durant PF: Gasol, Bosh, Nowitzki C: Howard, Duncan, Yao
PG: paul williams nash sg:Kobe wade roy sf:lebron melo durant pf:gasol duncan dirk c:howard yao brook lopez?
PG: 1. Chris Paul 2. Deron Williams 3. Steve Nash (He is old but hes still got it and averages 16 pts/11 ast/ 3 TO.) SG: 1. Dwayne Wade 2. Kobe Bryant 3. Brandon Roy SF: 1. Lebron James 2. Kevin Durant (Hes so young and still up and coming and has so much more potential.) 3. Carmelo Anthony PF: 1. Dirk Nowitzki 2. Chris Bosh 3. Amar'e Stoudamire (If u noticed I didn't put the lakers sorry butt Pau Gasol, who such a baby and cannot play through contact and thinks he is a PG hahaha!!!!!!) C: 1. Yao Ming (Who else would you put up here...really on Clutchfans) 2. Dwight Howard 3. Tim Duncan (He is not really considered a C but the PF spots are so competitive and the C position is very depleted.)
