I realize that Magic and Larry had a big rivalry but in the end they also respected each other and thus I think they could coexist on a team. Seeing some people putting MJ and Isiah on a team is something I could never see working. Those 2 hated each other. From the freeze out in the all star game to Jordan blocking Isiah for the Dream Team and their rivalry in between with Isiah and the Pistons walking out on the Bulls there is no way those 2 could play on the same team.
I'm going to go with this as well. The more I look at this lineup, the more I'm convinced. Don't really know anything about Frazier's game but WHO CARES!? Tank 1 position, get GOAT in the rest.
Hakeem for $1? Garnett in his prime for $1? Seriously??? Give me those two, with Jordan, Durant, and Magic, with a buck left over to have Pippen for my 6th man, or the buck to buy a ref.
The one problem with the Dream/Duncan/James/Jordan lineups is lack of 3pt shooting, assuming a modern game. Might be heresy here, but the only ways to get more shooting are to swap out Duncan for Nowitzki or lose Jordan. Pippen isn't a great spot up 3pt shooter. No idea about Frazier. If you go for shooting these might be the alternatives to the big 4 + Frazier/Pippen. Dream $1 Duncan $3 James $5 Durant $2 Robertson $4 Very traditional lineup. Durant provides much needed spacing. Dream $1 Nowitzki $2 James $5 Durant $2 Jordan $5 Interior D is weaker but still have top defenders Dream, James, and Jordan plus the most balanced offense of any team. Jordan and James can handle PG-like duties. They are still crazy fast w/o a traditional point.

Assuming the modern game, this team wouldn't need three point shooting. The blocks and steals SCREAM transition. They'd score 30ppg off turnovers easy. If you have Jordan running at you in the open court and Dream and Lebron on the wings running just as fast with Duncan trailing, what would you do? Somebody gone get dunked on!
Frazier is a total bargain on this list. He's the best defender among the point guards listed, a great floor general and distributor, and absolutely unselfish. $1 For shooting guard, Jordan is a no brainer. Only trouble I have with Jordan is that the game has to go through him, and that limits what you can do elsewhere. I'd prefer to have no-one who needs to have the game go through him. And, if I had to have someone who the game went through, I'd take Hakeem over Jordan. I'm gonna stretch the game and go with a second point guard instead. Oscar and Frazier are both big enough to defend shooting guards, both play great defence, both shoot well, and would work great together. Oscar $4 Bird for the 3 point shooter. Individual defense is a minor liability, but great team D, and he's another great team player who could fit in to any offense. Bird $4 Duncan, best ever at his position, great defender, great team player. $3 I priced myself out of taking Russell, who I would actually prefer for this team. If not for his foul shooting, I would prefer Wilt over Hakeem. Only hesitation with Hakeem is his insistence that the game go through him first. I'll assume that with this "supporting cast" he could get over that, at least some of the time, so I'll take him at the bargain price. That gives me Hakeem for $1. Total is $13. Does that mean I can get Durant for my leftover $2 to light things up off the bench?
I really like the balance of this team compared to my pick.... Better at shot blocking Better 3 pt arsenals Better BBL IQ i think that will give my team some issues even tho my team is overall more athletic...i feel the overall bbl iq is more with that team My original pick: C: Olajuwon $1 PF: Kevin Garnett $1 SF: Lebron James $5 SG: Michael Jordan $5 PG: John Stockton $2 I'm changing mine to yours
my pick PG : Walter Frazier SG : Michael Jordan SF : Scottie Pippen PF : Tim Duncan C : Hakeem Olajuwon We all know these players can score,so defend it's what will win you the game , all 5 of them were in NBA defensive first team 7+ times
