Try to top this one. This team has scoring, assists and rebounds. It might be a little light on defense, but I don't think it will matter. They would make the Suns look like the Rockets on offense.

    PG Steve Nash (4 ASG, white) 18.6 ppg, 11.6 rpg, FG% 53.2
    SG Reggie Theus (2 ASG) 18.3 ppg, 9.6 apg, fg% 48.0
    SF Bernard King (4 ASG) 32.9 ppg, 5.8 rpg, FG% 53.0
    PF Spencer Haywood (4 ASG) 29.2 ppg, 12.9 rpg, FG% 47.6
    C Ralph Sampson (3 ASG) 21.0 ppg, 11.1 rpg, FG% 52.3

I declare Steve Nash ineligible. He was elected to 5 asg. No skirting the rules!

I'd put this team up against any all-star team. I have it all on this team. I have inside presence with King and Gasol hitting from everywhere on the floor. I got Defensive rebounding and shot-blocking. I can run or play half court. I can spread the floor with Byron Scott. Bring on MJ and Magic and wilt and all of them.

PG: John Stockton [Top 50 Player, White Player]
    SG: Byron Scott [Non-Allstar]
    SF: Bernard King [Regular Player]
    PF: Pau Gasol [1997-Present]
    C: Marcus Camby [Non-Allstar]

PF: Larry Johnson [2x All-Star, drafted before 97]
SF: Tayshaun Prince [non-all star, drafted after 97]
SG: Jeff Hornacek [1x all star, white, 2nd and Beyond]
PG: Rafer Alston [non-allstar, drafted after 97, 2nd and Beyond]

Those are all first round picks.
So are you changing the rules to number of all star games selections, instead of appearances? Do ABA all star games count?

    heres another

    PG: Rod Strickland (non allstar)
    SG: Vernon Maxwell (2nd rounder)
    SF: Bernard King
    PF: Pau Gasol (white, 97-present)
    C: Hakeem Olajuwon (top 50)

Great frontline with a top assist man and a defensive gem at backcourt.

Of course not. I just made a mistake. I'll take Micheal Cooper instead. In fact, I like cooper better because of the defense.

PG: John Stockton [Top 50 Player, White Player]
    SG: Micheal Cooper Non-Allstar]
    SF: Bernard King [Regular Player]
    PF: Pau Gasol [1997-Present]
    C: Marcus Camby [Non-Allstar]

this is cool and all, but everyone's just taking the good choices from other teams. it'd be nice to see originality.. i know the pool is only so big, but still..

we need some new blood. We have about 4 or 5 repeat posters and thats it. No one else on the board wants to try this out.

Just add a new rule...no repeat players.

Once a player has been used...he cannot be used on another roster.

I think that would be cool and all, but we need to pick which teams are the best so far and start from there. Everyone pick the five best teams without repeat players and then we start again.
