Does anyone have video of SAR's hit on Yao? I don't remember there even being a foul let alone a flagrant? Did the camera and the refs miss it all? If there is evidence and it was deliberate shouldn't the league be talking about a suspension? Sorry if this redundant but I don't remember reading anywhere a real discussion of the altercation and what went down.
Well, I don't think any foul was called on that play. It's hard to say whether he was delibreate. But one thing is sure. SAR needs to cut his finger nails before every NBA games played. According to the Chinese website, Yao Ming got scratched 7 ~ 8 places on his face by SAR.
Remember those crazy scratches he had on his back anrd arms, I think his rookie year? Still has scars from them too? Forget the dress code, the league needs to start having a fingernail check before games!
I think this is proof that the soft talk about Yao is simply in relation to his style of play. I don't think you can argue that he does not play a gritty low post game, you'd like to see him finish stronger around the basket but few player take more abuse than Yao and still go out and play 80+ games a season. This is why Shaq basically takes a vacation during this part of the season.
