Francis doesn't look happy (don't care ). Cato has the reaction that's he's just there. I just feel bad for Mobley. Wish he could of stayed as a Rocket.
Is this a press conference or a prison lineup? These guys couldn't look happier to be in mickey land.
Our guys made me proud and sad. They are really a bunch of stand-up guys who work hard. They handeled everything like class acts. No Houston bashing what-so-ever. Made me sad to see them on another team. Must be really weird for them.
Thanks a million. Watched all of it. One funny feeling is that no matter what they say, I think it's going to take a while to adjust to the new team. It's weird to see them say they are the Magics, maybe even ti themselves. I wish we could at least keep Cat.
Here is a pic of them at the press conference in Orlando http://us.rd.yahoo.com/sports/nba/p...g=flpc10106301544.magic_trade_flpc101&prov=ap
that just doesn't look right. I'll honestly miss those guys, will be rooting for them. They sure as hell don't look excited
I wasnt a BIG fan of the whole Steve and Cat show but seeing them in another jersey just breaks my heart... BUT its ok seeing T-Mac in a Rockets jersey makes it all better!
Damn, that is a weird picture to see. I'm excited to have McGrady in a Rockets uniform, but it is depressing to see those three holding up jerseys for another team. Especially the Orlando Magic. It's funny, a friend of mine asked me at the end of the regular season which guys I'd like to see moved in the offseason, and I thought for a while and was like "man, that is so tough, I love every one of those guys and, if a championship were possible, I'd like to keep them all together." Probably the hardest thing for most Rockets fans to deal with right now is the fact that Stevie & Cat played so damn hard, even if they also played really damn stupid from time to time. Those two guys were Houston Rockets through and through. You even heard Francis' agent talking about how it wasn't about not wanting to go to Orlando, but not wanting to leave Houston. It is easy to bash the Franchise, and yes, what he did was unprofessional--but the man was dedicated to this team. I guess there comes a point when a player has to actually start walking the walk in addition to talking the talk, so I guess Stevie's time had come, but jeez...This is just kinda depressing right now. I wouldn't mind beating the Magic in the finals a few years down the road. As a matter of fact, I think I'll be rooting for those guys to come in second place every year. I might even pick up a Francis Orlando jersey. After I purchase that sweet T-Mac swingman.
At least now Orlando has a very good chance to get in the playoffs. With the new alignment their conference should be easy to win. They have to compete against atlanta, washington, charlotte, and miami. Their toughest competition is Miami but I think they'll be able to beat them.
Good news conference...I still can't believe its happening... Anyway, I really am going to miss those guys...I got a feeling they'll be lighting it up in Orlando...A weak division/conference, and then they can actually play streetball...
Maybe this picture was from when JVG said, "Hey guys, put these on. I just want to see how they look."
