Would still be infinitely more entertaining than the boring Clippers getting swept by the Mavs.

I suppose, but that isn't saying much. Without Sam, the Clippers are booooooring and stale.

Man what do you know...GS won again...

I would love to see them in the Playoffs taking it to the Mavs :)

The warriors have won 4 straight against the mavs going back from the last year. So if the warriors do get the 8th seed, they could make things interesting against the mavs.

I don't understand why coaches who are down by 20+, have the second-string come in and reach within striking distance, and not use back their starters. Yeah, yeah, the starters choked and the bench got them back, therefore the bench deserved to play it through, but in the essence of winning and the reality that such a run from 20 can tire a bench out, it only makes sense to put fresh starters in.

Down by 6, Nash is sitting down along with Amare and everyone else and Barbosa with a bunch of scrubs are still playing simply because they deserved it? Makes no sense if you're trying to win.

    GOOOOO WARRIORS.

Warriors need to make the playoffs.

Can you imagine how crushing it would be to the city of dallas if the mavs lose the 1st round after having one of the best Regular seasons ever????

It would be my dream come true. Cuban would probably sell the team.
Or do something drastic like trade Dirk and Howard for draft picks.

Golden state and Don Nelson are the only team/coach that can pull this stuff on the Suns, they've got the perfect combination of players and philosophy to play the way they did tonight. Let's not call out JVG just because GS's strategy is so successful, even teams like SA and Dallas couldn't do what Gstate did tonight, SA because they don't have the players, Dallas because AJ would never allow his team to play defense like that. We have our style, GS has their style, and GS style is just perfect against Phoenix.

I really want to see Phoenix and GS go at it in the 1st round though, come on David Stern, the 1st round looks of games looks incredibly boring besides Houston / Utah. You need at least 2 exciting series, make it happen Stern + refs...

It makes PERFECT sense! You stick with the guys that got you back in. It takes balls, it takes manhood. Its beautiful! But to you're credit. It NEVER works...

    Exactly!

Think about it, the bench just expanded all their energy eating up a 20-point lead. Why couldn't they mix in starters with some of the bench guys? This would be the same as rewarding them. They could've left Barbosa in and inserted Amare couldn't they?

How? They'd either have to be number 7 or Phoenix would somehow miraculously get number 1. Neither of which is happening.

But just to make you happy, I was playing ESPN's mock Flash draft yesterday and Golden State ended up with the first pick of the draft. Several other times I've landed them with the 3rd pick ( where they're projected to draft the new Chinese guy ). Trust me, Golden State was not meant for this season but the next. In the 07-08 season, they'll be Phoenix Lite. All they're missing is one healthy season, time to mesh together as a unit, and a good draft pick from filling out the corners. If they're not the next Phoenix, they're at least the next '04 Mavericks.
