Agreed. I think the rockets probably should have kept Batum when they drafted him.

That is likely to happen but so is Shaq getting tired. If Oden goes to the bench early, he'll be even fresher when the Suns are getting tired down the stretch.

I want the Suns to win this game but I just can't see it happening.

If you want the Rockets to meet the Blazers in the 1st round then you need to support for a Blazers win tonight.

He's sort of the quiet, deadly type like Ronnie Brewer. And like Brewer, he's athletic and committed to playing both ends of the court.

I'd love to have Brewer or Batum on the Rockets.

I can see Rudy lighting up the Suns tonight, both inside and outside.

the refs owe portland about 8 makeups calls in a row after that charging foul on roy with hill standing underneath the rim, about 4 feet inside the circle. horrible, horrible call. apparently the league needs to get shaq in the playoffs.

It's like watching refs do a Montreal Canadiens game as the Canadiens fight for a playoff spot on their 100th anniversary.

Oden is beasting out there. To quote Doug Collins, " Greg Oden got excited there."

After the great defensive effort by Oden, Rudy panics and passes the ball up court to a streaking Oden. Result: TO. Not a smart play for a heady player like Rudy.

He's showing why he's still the best center in the league!

Love him or hate him Shaq is still one of the best centers of all time. Just watching destroying people at the age of 37 is just incredible. Shaq is probably right too, we'll never see another center like this.

shaq throws the ball at przybilla with no technical so the makeup call is an offensive foul on przybilla, followed by another offensive foul on portland. solid.

I really like these game threads. it really shows the guys who watch ball.

Brooks, I really good y wanted brewer in 06, but we know how that turned out. Now the rockets are trying to find those kind of players.

There are some really good discussions in this forum. It's also a nice change of pace from the GARM which can get chaotic at times.

I didn't know much about Brewer when he was drafted but he's one of my favorite low profile players in the league, even if he's a Jazz.

Batum seems to have been quite a snag for the Blazers.
