Can anyone verify that Steve really didn't have his uniform on? Are you sure he didn't just take off his uni and warm up at the same time? If its really true then the guy has serious problems
Acie Law, one of Atlanta's first round PG picks went down with a serious knee injury last night. Morey should get on the horn and try to ship rafer there for maybe Marvin Williams or Josh Childress
You know Acie Law is well known around here since he played at Texas A&M. And it was an ankle sprain.
i know rafer is the easiest person to pick on, but at this point our whole damn team outside of yao, tmac, bonzi, and maybe hayes has been ATROCIOUS.... rafer, battier, scola (but i'm still cuttinghim some slack), head, james. the same bench that was coming in and beating other teams into submission just one week ago is now practically non-existent. nevermind battier's and rafer's horrible offensive outputs.... i dont want to call it a lack of heart or determination, but clearly something's been up the past 3 games. perhaps a lack of focus - i mean, how else do you explain 16 missed FT's??? open look after open look and our best shooters were missing BADLY. i hope RA kept them all at the toyota center after the game for a nice little "shooting practice."
No joke. I couldn't believe how badly Battier airballed his wide open 3 at the end of the game last night. Rafer just looks like he's throwing the ball at the goal.

So basically your saying a Steve "Unshape" Francis is < Rafer "Workaholic" Alston? At this point in the season, I would go with anyone at PG instead of Alston. Your a moron, people like you don't have a clue about basketball. You think because your in "shape" that guarantees a starting position in the NBA? But getting 2 off court police incidents, bricking every shot, losing games, turning the ball over in crunch time, can't hit open 3 point looks, low FG % makes you a starter? Steve is a 3 time all star player... yea he lost a step but hes proven that he can play at a higher level than Rafer could ever achieve in his dreams.
Anyone here listening to 610 on draft night 2 years ago... and heard him chuckling when taking questions about Rudy Gay.. cuz they knew he was going to be traded for battier... i was crying on the inside when i heard we were gonna trade him.
